DESCRIPTION: The mission of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is to help protect you, your communities, and your businesses from the most dangerous threats facing our nation—from international and domestic terrorists to spies on U.S. soil…from cyber villains to corrupt government officials…from mobsters to violent gangs…from child predators to serial killers. The FBI is the principal investigative arm of the United States Department of Justice, with (as of August 27, 2004). Total number of FBI employees: 28,562 over 12,156 Special Agents and over 16,420 Professional support personnel including more than 1,300 analysts and more than 1,000 Information Technology experts in 56 Divisions, over 400 Resident Agencies, and more than 40 foreign Legal Attaches.

The Albany Division of the FBI serves part of Upstate of New York State and the state of Vermont. This experiential will include a tour of our local FBI office with hands-on demonstrations.
